災害にはいくつか種類があります。

 

There are several kinds of disasters.

 

人為的な災害は除き、自然災害について記述します。

 

Except for human-induced disasters, I will describe natural disasters.

 

事実、現在も西日本地方ではかなり多くの死者や犠牲者が出ています。

 

Indeed, there are still quite a lot of dead and victims in western Japan today.

日本は地震がかなり多いことで世界に知られていますが、それ以外の災害も多いです。

地震、台風、暴風雨、豪雪、洪水、津波、噴火、地滑り。

 

Earthquake, typhoon, storm, heavy snowfall, flood, tsunami, eruption, landslide.

地震も有名ですが、津波が全世界共通語になったことも有名です。
